Getting to Moreton Island is all part of your unique holiday experience. There are two main regularly scheduled ferries to get to the island but just remember it's a sand island and only 4WD vehicles are allowed.

For passenger travel only, the Tangalooma Dolphin Resort offers three high-speed catamarans for a 75 minute scenic boat ride across Moreton Bay. The catamarans are docked at the Tangalooma Wharf, located at Holt Street, Pinkenba, Brisbane, Australia. The Holt Street wharf is approximately 15 minutes from Brisbane Airport and Brisbane city centre.

Arrival on the Tangalooma catamarans will dock you at the Tangalooma jetty located just south of the resort. From here you will have about a 15 min stroll past the resort and on to Beach House 3.

If you are planning on taking your 4WD you can travel by the MiCat with Moreton Island Ferries, a large luxurious catamaran which runs daily trips across to Moreton Island. Arrival by the MiCat will bring you into to the island just north of the resort and from here it's only a short drive to the car park situated just below the house.

For the more adventurous there is always the option of travelling by helicopter, your own boat or light aircraft.
